I'm over a year and 4months out and still feel I could lose afew more pounds. My doctor says I'm showing signs of an eatting disorder but, I feels she's wrong. But, than again she could be right. Anyways I want to lose 5 more pounds and she says I'm small enough. My mind tells me I'm not and at times I still see my self as a big big person. She said not to listen to my mind because it still has to play catch up with the new me. I'm saying I don't see how 5 more pounds would really make a diffrents. Wandering if any one else has a problem with there weight still. She says I worry way to much and at times I do because I don't ever want to be heavy again.

Diane You will always see yourself as that big person, because that is what you are use to knowing. I have only lost 38 lbs and so many people see a huge difference but yet all i see is still me. and my old clothes are falling off me and my ones i have had that did not fit are fitting and some of them are to loose as well. I am like how can 38lbs do that but I have also, lost over 47 inches total in my body..... I can remember a time when I was smaller and by pictures, but I posted recently about this on the main board and everyone answered the same way. that we still see ourselves as that fat person. Please do not let this surgery take over your mind to where you think you will never be skinny enough. I am not sure what you weigh, but to what I think you are a year post-op and you have to be down some lbs that is for sure. Girl pick up something you wore back when you were big and pick up something now that you wear and compare. That right there shows who you really are. Not only that stop worrying and start enjoying the whole new you..
