Somerset

Once again, I am looking for anyone in the Somerset area that knows anything of a local support group or wants to start some meetings. My doc's meetings aren't the most convenient for me so I'm trying to find something closer to home. Thanks. Angi

hey Angi there is a few of us gastric people in casey county.. most are already reached goal. but I know two of us that have not yet.. I am not sure about a local support group.. but i did not know you were so close to me.. I actually will be in somerset tomorrow night.. we come there all the time and my baby's grandparents pastor a church there as well. Rev. Tim Napier. not sure if you know them or not.. but they church located behind the shell station by the pizza hut area.. anyways I wondered about a support group as well. even if we met 2 times a month or something to get together and talk and spend some time.. anyways get back at me

There is a support group here in danville......her name is Michelle Zamman she is one of Dr.Bolars patients. She had rny in may of 2004 I think they meet the 3rd monday of the month . I talked with her and she says that everyone is welcomed. The meetin is at the boyle county library. I guess you could call them for the time. I have not had my surgery yet. But it is nice to no you can call someone or meet with them and talk. Vickie

Thanks but with all of my running with the kids, I really need something closer to home. I will keep the info though, I interviewed for a job today in Stanford, so Danville would be a quick hop after work, IF I GET THE JOB. Angi
