Hi Guys

Just wanting to post a question. I will be possibly relocating to Louisville, KY in the next few months to live from Mississippi. I have never been to Kentucky but there are some good job opportunities there for me in the field of work that I do. Anyone on here live in Louisville? Is it a nice place to live? Do you enjoy it? It will be me and my 25 yr. old daughter making the move. So just being us gals, moving out of state is sorta scary. Any info you can give would be greatly appreciated. Sue from MS 273/261/218/150

Hi Sue from MS,,,,,,,Kentucky is a great State to live, and Louisville is a great city too. I dont live in the city, I live north-east of it but my Doctor,(Dr. Shina ) is there and thats where I go for my checkups and having surgery in 2 weeks (RnY).Im from the south too, and Ive loved it here. You wont have trouble making friends here, and Im sure that Ky. will embrace you and your daughter with open arms and a unbridled spirit. Susanne Baker

Hi Sue! I'm not in Louisville, we live a little over 2 hours to the east, but visit Louisville often. I moved here from northern WI 8 years ago and it was quite a culture shock! I absolutely LOVE Kentucky and can't imagine living anywhere else. I have found the people to be generally open and friendly with a wonderfully laid back attitude. Life is slower and more relaxed here, a nice change from the frenetic pace in the midwest. Having never been to MS, I don't know how different it will be for you, but I'm sure you will love it here! Hi Sue, I do not live in Louisville, I live up in N KY, but we travel to Louisville a lot. It is a beautiful city and the suburbs are also great. Kentucky is the only place i have lived in my 45 years and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Good luck in your move.
