Kentucky Roll Call!!!
Hi, Dr. Charles! Congratulations on your recent surgery!!! How are you feeling?
I have some nuclear physics questions I'll be emailing you later!
Seriously, that topic is really interesting to me. My father in law worked for years at the nuclear plant in Washington state, and I was always fascinated with the whole thing. I'm one of those "how" and "why" people - I have to understand everything, and he never had enough info to satisfy me. Now I know if we ever get this group together, I'll have to pick your brain!

Hi all,
My name is patty I live in Vine grove area. I am waiting on insurance approval for open RNY. I had a VBG 3 years ago that has failed.. I love dr Rodrigues. I hope all things will go well. Not to impressed with his office staff. They feel like they are doing you a big favor to answer the phone.
I am a nurse anesthetist at Hardin Memorial Hospital. I can;t not wait to start living again

Hi Patty! Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed meeting you and your friend at the Radcliff support meeting. I was wondering if your friend could send me a message because I had a couple of questions about the lap-band that I thought she might be able to help me with. I racked my brain and could not remember her name (don't tell her).
Best wishes!
Charles

Yes, It was great meeting you too. I am so happy you are feeling great after your surgery. Her name is Pam Medley she is my sister. email her at [email protected]
I finally got the office to file my insurance. It would be faster to pass a bill in congress. But hopely insurance will not take toooo long.

Hi, I live in the Lancaster, KY area and one year ago I weighed 283 lb. Today, I weigh 162.
Even though I had to travel out of state to get it, I had the BPD/DS on 8/3/04 mostly because I liked the post-op BPD/DS diet, and I wanted to lose the most weight with the best chance of keeping it off.
So far, I have had no complications; I eat small normal meals and while the weight is coming off slower than if I'd had RNY, I am VERY happy with life and hope that losing the next 12 pounds continues to be as effortless as the first 100+!

Hello. I'm Angi and in the process of getting approval thru Dr. Bolar's office. I toyed with the idea of WLS forever and am just now getting around to it.The thing is, now that I have decided it is what I want, things just can't move fast enough. I live just north of Somerset and have been looking for some local folks that I can get together with and discuss WLS and life thereafter.
Like Jo mentioned, I have been a lurker forever and have just started posting some. Take care to everyone out there and God Bless.
