Kentucky Roll Call!!!

Good morning! The Kentucky boards are a little boooring, and we need to get things kicked up! I imagine we have a lot of lurkers and alot of Kentuckians who don't visit this board due to the inactivity... Sooo, stop by and say hi and let us know you're out there! I'll go first! I'm pre-op, live in Taylorsville (just outside of Louisville). I'm Dr. Geller's patient, and am praying and waiting for approval from Anthem. I am totally addicted to the boards, and love watching the success of all the post-ops, and learning from the struggles.

The KY board doesn't get much action and I must admit I am more of a lurker than a poster...but getting out more and more. I am near Elizabethtown and scheduled with Doc Shina on 8-12-05.

SOMETIMES IT DOES GET A LITTLE BORING ON THE BOARDS..BUT THOSE OF US WHO HAVE A NEW LEASE ON LIFE HAVE A LITTLE TROUBLE WITH SITTING IN FRONT OF THE COMPUTER.. I'M PRAYING FOR ALL OF YOU OUT THERE THAT IS TRYING TO GET APPROVED..AND I KNOW IT'S GETTING HARDER..BUT KEEP THE FAITH AND TO ALL OF US THAT HAVE HAD THE SURGERY...KEEP THE POSITIVES GOING FOR ALL THOSE WAITING IN THE WINGS..LOVE TO YOU ALL AND BLESSINGS ON EACH AND EVERY ONE RENEE RAPIER

Hey Jo, I'm Robin. I live in Harrodsburg, Ky. I had my lapband surgery with Drs. Weiss and Oldham in Georgetown on August 11, 2004. I am now a little over 11 months and down 84 lbs. I have a tummy tuck scheduled for September 20th since I'm about 14-18lbs from goal.

Robin - good for you! 14 lbs from goal!!!! Did you get your tummy tuck approved, or are you doing it the old fashioned way? BTW - I love Harrodsburg! I used to visit my friends aunt every summer as child, and it has a special place in my heart. I need to bring my kids one of these days!
