gift for surgeon??

my surgeon has done so much for me, I want to give him a gift but dont know what. years ago I gave a foot surgeon some great wine, his secretary told me the type he liked, and he loved it. I was thinking of also getting before and after photos of his patients and making a colage for his office, the walls are pretty bare. I also thought of giving him some of the salsa I have been canning but this is my first time and not sure how it will turn out... lol thanks Donna

Both are great ideas!! You are so thoughtful!! A colage is something that will last a longtime. Many will benefit for the photos. But how would you get all those photos!! Maybe the office ladies can help you? Would he like the walls covered with photos?? I think you need to check with his office manager. Just my thought on it. Homemade salsa!! thank you Tonya, we have a meeting each month and I could talk to people who would want to contribute their before and after photo, then I would make it on a huge board, then laminate it when its finished, that way it will hang like a picture and the surgeon can do what he wants with it... Donna

Donna, I think the collage is a wonderful idea. If I was a patient going into this Dr's office I would know immediately that he must be wonderful at what he does, for someone to take the time to complete something like that. It would also show off the success he has had in the past! Alethea
