It was GREAT!!

Hello everyone...just thought I'd share my happiness. I had a regular follow-up appointment with Dr. Rodriquez on Wednesday (which went great) and since I was going to be in Louisville, decided to take the kids with me and spend the next day at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom. For the first time in YEARS I went in and got in line for whatever ride I wanted to!! You see, I used to be afraid to ride the rides because I was scared I wouldn't fit in them properly and be asked to get off. I would stand in line with the kids and strain to see the people getting off the rides to see if they were bigger than me- thinking if they fit I probably would too. Of course, I never felt like anyone was bigger, so I would stay with the kids til they got on, then just wait at the exit for them. It was SO good to be able to just ride with them this time! And BTW--the belts not only went around me, I had to tighten some of them (WOW). Well, just wanted to share that. Hope everyone is doing well! Sheila

Congrats Sheila, That is WONDERFUL!!!! I know exactly how you feel. I have had the same panic attacts myself and the anxiety can make you physically sick. My surgery is in 2 weeks and I can't wait until I can participate without the worry too. By the way, where is Phelps? Is it in Casey County by any chance? Again, Great for YOU!! Brooke

Richard!! So good to hear from you! I'm not sure what is up with the e-mail from this site, but several people I have e-mailed (including you) haven't gotten them hmmmm....... OMG! You have lost 100 pounds How are you feeling? How is your eating and such? Are you having any complications? Update please!!!!...LOL So glad to hear from you! Keep up the good work!
