Susan Maria's Rant this month... Check it out !

For those of you who have not been out to Susan Maria's site lately, check it out. Look under This Months Rant..... www.bariatriceating.com She truely knows how to lay out the reality of WLS. I dont think that I would be here today 340 lbs lighter, if it were not for me using my TOOL to its potential. I dont think that I would be here today if I did not tolerate the protein, the vitamins, etc.... We all need to realize that Morbid Obesity is a disease like AIDS, Diabetes, Cancer... Like a cancer patient.. they complain about radiation therapy or chemo... BUT they do it with hopes that it will put them in remission. WLS is the same thing. You have to work the tool you have been given to be successful. THANK YOU SUSAN MARIA for your RANT this month... I am backing you on this one !!!!!

I agree with you Glen, Susan Maria is right on..I talked to a preop last wed after an info session..She was already worried about not tolerating sugar and taking her vitamins..I asked her why she was having the surgery, she said the doc told her she would die soon if she didn't something about the weight..now I don't know about you but I had terrible health problems before my surgery. I am so thankful today for my life..for the wonderful experiences I have had. I would do this again tomorrow. The vitamins are much better than the insulin shots to the belly, I can tell you that. And when I dump, I am soooo sorry for that 20-30 mins after. but when it's over I thank God it still happens to me 2 yrs later. By the way Glen you look so handsome in that tux.. lol
