3 months post op, -52lbs
I am a little over 3 months post op and have went from 311 morning of surgery (March 24, 2005) to weighing 259 this morning. By my calculations I am down 52 pounds! YES!!! Whoo Hoo! I am so happy! So many people are now telling me that they can really tell I have lost weight. Even Adams ex wife got over being mad about me having surgery (she's overweight also and acted jealous cause I had surgery) but she got over it enough last night to grudgingly say, wow u have really lost weight! That was cool. Yesterday I saw my mom after not seeing her for 2 weeks and she said she could tell a huge difference in those 2 weeks. I am liking this!
About plastic surgery after I reach my goal and maintain for 2-3 months, I know my insurance covered it if medically necessary. Well, I called this morning about a bill I had got and just asked to make sure what their policy was on plastics and u know what they said??? (This is the cool part, lol) THEY SAID THE APPROVE ALL PLASTICS FOR ANYONE WHO HAS HAD A GASTRIC BYPASS SURGERY!!! YES! That was great news. Well, I will take more pics after I lose another 10-20 pounds. I want u all to be able to tell a real difference next time I take pics. I will wait until I lose another 20 at least maybe! That will put me at -72 pounds, weighing 239. Should be able to tell a difference by then, lol.

You're doing great! I had surgery on May 11th and have lost 30lbs, isn't it great!
Anyway, I was wondering who your insurance company is. I don't know if I'll need it, but who knows. I have KY Medicaid and they gave me no problem with the surgery at all, but I don't know about PS.
