I Have a Surgery Date!

Hi All Thanks to those *****sponded to my original post. I got the call from Anna at Dr. Shina's office this morning and my date is Aug. 22nd! It seems like a long way away. K.

How long has it taken you to get to your surgery date..from your first meeting to now?????

Hi Heather It has taken me since March 22nd to do everything. You have to go an information seminar first, then I had my nutritional consult on April 5th, psych evaluation on April 26th. I had my Pac class on April 28th. Appointment with the Dr. on May 10th and I was approved on May 23rd. Let me know if you have anymore questions. K.

Hey, I know it seems like a long till until your surgery, but its really not. I had my seminar with Dr Shina on Oct 5, 2004, got denied in December, got approved January 10 and my surgery wasn't until March 24. I thought it would take forever but it went by fast.
