i know this might not be the place to tell the world, but i have to!!!!!!!! I have been looking at getting a roux-en-y for nearly two years now and finally at the youthful age of 18 i am changing my life forever!!!!

Yayyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you.I am on my way to start this process of getting WLS (RNY) and I know just how you feel.I am 26 and I've tried so many things and nothing has worked.I feel that with this much weight to lose (I need to lose 150lbs) WLS is the only option for me right now.I can relate to your profile and the sadness of being overweight.I am here for you..anytime!

Thanks all for your responses and concern!! To answer a few questions, I am going to Dr.Weiss or Oldham at Georgetown Community Hospital. Which is a fantastic facility thus far, let me tell you!
