Moving to Ft. Knox Area in July..Need Info

Hi..I am Carolyn! I am moving to Ft Knox in July and will be in need of a WLS Support Group...I am going in for my surgery on Friday the 13th! (this Friday) I cannot wait to get settled there, so I can get my routine on track again after the move! I am looking forward to being a part of the KY board...! Carolyn

Carolyn, Hi! I live 5 miles south of Ft. Knox in a town called Elizabethtown. There are several support groups in the area. One is in Radcliff at the library which is next to Ft. Knox. Please let me know if you need the dates & times of the meetings or have any questions about the area. Charles

Hey there sweetie. I think there is a group at the hospital. You might want to check. There is so many ladies there that has had the surgery, I am sure they do. Fort Knox is awesome!!! I love it there. ( I love soldiers LOL) I'm not to far from there and I use the doctors on post. LOL I hope you enjoy it here. I just love it!! good luck with your move. I know I hate moving that is until I went to Germany. LOL Toni

I live on Fort Knox and to me it's ok and I don't know of a group at the hospital but I do know of the one in Radcliff. Most of the women I know who have had the surgery stick together and share there ups and downs like me and my friends. Sure hope you like it here, We're off to Washington state in afew months sure hope I like it there..Best of luck to you andyour wieght loss and also your move.

Hello.. I am actually new to Radcliff, I have checked out one of the support groups in E Town.. it was awesome.. However, I am also looking for folks in the ft knox and radcliff area to get to know and possible meet up with and walk and etc. If you know of anyone interested in that type of thing..
