Ky Access

Hi, I'm new to the site, I'm hoping to have Lap RNY, done by Dr. Allen. I was told if covered by Ky Access that I would have to be covered a year before i would be approved has anyone had to wait that long due to ins? I've been to the seminar and filled out my packet but now looking for a different ins. company. My husband had open rny july 6 2004 and has lost 200lbs he's doing great. I just want to speed this whole process up. I would appreciate any info I can get. Jennifer

hi jennifer i do have ky access, and they told me the same, so the way i look at it is the year is half gone. and its worth the wait. lisa
