Stomach pain...
The first month after surgery I did so well, I thought I was just soaring through this surgery. But, lately (the last week or so) I have been having intermittent stomach pain, and nausea. Because of this, I'm not eating much and I have went over 24 hours without eating anything. This is when the nausea seems to get worse, to the point I puke (well, dry heave since there's nothing there to come up). Has anyone else experienced this? I thought the further out from surgery, the better you were going to feel?
Thanks,
Sheila
Is it possible you just had a flu bug??
You may try just a few crackers, yes they are carbs but they are easy on your tummy too. That may help you from being nauseaed??
I have only been ill once. I eat a half a peanut butter and jelly sanwich too fast and I dry heaved!! YUCK!! I felt like I had REALLY BAD heart burn for about 24 hours!!
I hope & pray you feel better very soon!!
Blessings

Sheila,
Sorry to read about your problem, hope it gets resolved soon.
I wonder about how you are doing frequently, and keep you in my prayers. I used to be on the computer every day, but since the surgery rarely get on it, so I haven't kept up with you. Sorry.
My recovery is going much slower then I expected, my biggest challenge is lack of energy and stamina. I did get the gastric tube out a week ago, but the wound still has a foul discharge.
Have to go.
