Tomorrow is Seminar Day

Hello all..just a quick message to say that tomorrow I go the seminar on WLS. Spouse is going with me. I'm nervous and excited all at the same time. I have to leave work an hour early in order to make it to the seminar on time. Which also might mean I won't get to go to Curves tomorrow. I don't know for sure though. I might make it back in time to go. I'm not sure yet. What will I expect at the introduction to weight loss surgery seminar? I haven't the foggiest idea of what will happen. Mary

My seminar was great! Dr. Shina and the staff covered the procedure, completely!! Topics covered: Insurance Type of surgeries-open, lapro, lap band what exactly happens inside your body what could happen...death hospital stay recovery time diet you will follow follow up care I also seen the Dr to see if I was a canidate for laproscopic or open RNY. The nurse talked about my insurance & went over my paper work. They took care of filing for approval with insurance co. Also Dr Shina works with "the Right Weight Clinic" to help you with the diet portion of this process. THe dietican talked to us in the seminar too.
