when do you stop rapid loss
Ok, I am posting as my husband because I am a little worried. He had his surgery on Dec 17. His highest weight was 311 but he went into the surgery at 289.
He now weighs 215!
Is this still in the normal range? He will hit the 100 lb mark before he is even 3 months out.
He has been very good about not eating the bad things like simple sugars and is drinking enough water but I think he is starting to have a real problem with not being hungry and forgetting to eat.
For instance yesterday he had a protein drink/slimfast for breakfast but only ate peanut butter for lunch. Im not sure what he ate last night because i had class.
How can i encourage him to eat more often or should I be encouraging him at all?
He is not excersing as he once did but does walk as often as possible.
this is only my opnion and you would be best to ask the doctor but I think he is going to be okay. Depending on the surgery he had he may not get hungry until he is well at 6 months out. I an about 12 weeks out and I am never hungry. I have lost 66 lbs so far and I know that guys lose faster and people that were heavier to begin with lose fast. He knows his body pretty well and is more sensitive. As long as he gets in the protein and water that is all he can do. Like I said if you are really concerned ask the doctor but for now I think he is okay.
