Hi all... I am home and doing well. I've went through a bunch of emotions over the last three days in the hospital, including regrets(sorry to say) but, they say that is kinda normal. The nurses at Norton were great, and there was one nurse there who had had the surgery herself, and she really encouraged me. I feel better about things now, and am glad that I will soon be losing! I know that I've been through the worse, and things will only get better now. I haven't heard anything from Richard Coomes, I hope to soon. Please continue to remember Lola Johnson in prayer. She is doing better, but still has a long road of recovery to face. Her family has been great to me and my family, and we all became friends. I appreciate all they did for me. Thanks to everyone for all the words of encouragement!! Sheila

Sheila now the hardest part is over. You'll heal and every day you'll feel better. You still may go through some emotional times but its worth it. Nortons is great I know the nurse your talking about, she was one of mine also. Shes just another one of the Norton Angels. Just remember to do what the Dr. tells you to. Take it slow it takes a while to heal on the inside. Good luck and God bless you.

Congrats on getting home. Now begins the journey. I too will be having WLS on March 3. Let's keep in touch and go through this together. Hope this message finds you doing well on the lighter side. May God Bless You.
