Surgeons in the Louisville area who take Medical cards?

Hey, ya'll, my brother in law from Christian County has been told by his PCP that he needs to have WLS. For some reason he has to come to Louisville. He called Dr Allens office months ago to schedule a consult and has heard nothing from them. He needs to get in soon to get this process started. Do any of u know if any of the surgeons around Louisville take Ky Medical Cards? He is also on disability, his insurance has already said they will pay as soon as he gets a surgeon. Thanks Love and God Bless Angela P.S. I would love to get him in with my surgeon, Dr Shina, but I am not sure if they take that insurance, anyone know?

They used to be about the only ones that did take both medicaid and medicare together. Not sure if they still do or not. The doctor that uses University of Louisville does. I'm not sure of his name but I think it is Dr. Rodregious (SP)
