AT LAST!!!!!

After being turned down by Bluegrass Family Health and then having my insurance coverage change to a new company on Jan 1 2005, I was feeling like I'd never have the lap-band surgery. But, the Bariatric Office at Caritas Medical Center resent my info to my new insurer, United Health Care, and they have approved my request for coverage of the surgery. I don't know when it'll be cause arrangements haven't been made yet. But it won't take long to make them and I'll let you know as soon as I have a date!!!!! HOORAY FOR ME!!!!

Good for you!!! Our insurance just changed to Bluegrass Family health and I"m having alot of problems with them!! They do not want to pay for much of anything!! So happy that you got to change ins. companies!! I have a friend who had the lap band procedure @ Caritas and she has done very well and LOVED the DR & staff there.
