PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

My insurance has an exclusion policy for weight loss surgery and Vocational Rehab cannot help me due to disagreement with the hospital regarding its fees. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I need WLS so desperately!!!!!

Hi, You may want to check with Dr. Alex Argotte who does his surgery at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah Ky. I met a lady in his office a few months back, and he did her surgery throught the vocational rehab program. Everything has changed, so I'm not sure if they are still doing it or not. Sandra, Some insurances have an exclusion for the surgery, but if your Doctor says it is a medical necessity and you have health problems to back it up then you are an acception to the exclusion. I've seen some people get approved even if there is an exclusion. Good luck!
