Patients of Rodrigues

I am looking for other patients of Dr. Jorge Rodrigues. Opinions? Did you have any problems with Celeste? I have been waiting for 2 months just to get a review from my insurance. Celeste says she has sent info, but BCBS tells me they have had no contact. Thanks!

Susan, I am a patient of Dr. Rodriquez. My dealings with Celeste were OK, but I did find it difficult to actually get her on the phone. Keep trying though...and good luck! Sheila

I am one of his patients. Yes, I did have issues with Celeste!! She almost cost me my surgery!! She placed my approval in my file and didn't both to tell anyone. I had to keep calling the nurses to get things going. They found my approval finally and then everything was fine. All you can do is keep calling Celeste and bugging her to resend it. She can be alittle hateful sometimes but stay on her. Now, I am not taking up for her, but she is working for many different doctors in that building so you must stay on her as much as possible. I hope this helps you out some. Then again, she may have sent it and BCBS may have lost it. They deal with many people as well. I hope you get everything worked out. I love Dr. Rodrigues!! He did mine 8 months ago. He is great!

Susan..Keep calling and hang in there...I don't know who tells the tales..whether bc/bs (my bet) or Celeste..but someone is! I had my surgery 8/26 and dr Rod is the best...however, my girlfriend has had a nightmare...Same insurance-Same dr-Same Celeste and she was 1 month behind me...she has still not had her surgery and the criteria changed in October so now she is going to her 6 months of Weigh****chers...Of course she was not as much a PAIN IN THE A$$ as I was...you just gotta keep at it..and I would say speak to a manager at BC/BS and write down their names and everything they say to you.
