How long does it usually take from insurance approval to getting a surgery date? I've been waiting 11 days now and I keep having a nagging thought "maybe they forgot about you"...lol. I know that souonds crazy, but stuff like that happens to me.

I would give the office a call and ask if they received your approval and when might you expect to be scheduled. It never hurts to ask, I am sure they are busy with so many cases.

Thanks Pat for the reply. I know the Dr. office has my approval beacuse I faxed them my approval when it came. They said it would take a few days to get me on the schedule, I guess I'm just overly anxious!

shelia I know what your going thru waited forever for my approval now its been 2 weeks and I called the doctors office and they said there were 30 people in front of me waiting on surgery.
