Support groups near Independence KY ?

Hello, my name is Nate and in december of 2004 I had lap gastric bypass surgery in Hershey PA, this summer we will be moving to Independence KY, building a ne house. Just seeing if their is a support group in the area? thank you, nate

I go to support group in Florence, Ky which is just minutes from Independence. If your looking for a great Dr. for your follow up, I would highly recommend my surgeon. Dr. Sonnanstine is fabulous. He is through St. Luke Hospital. They have a nutristionist and pshcologist on staff if you need them. Hope this helps and e-mail me anytime, Kari

This post just made my day! I live in Burlington and have been thinking about going back to a support group. I am 6 years post op and having some trouble with weight gain. I love my doctor but he is in Louisville and I just haven't been able to make myself go see him. Could you possibly e-mail me information on the support group? When it is, etc. I would really appreciate it! I will probably see if your Dr. will see me and just run through some checks to make sure I am doing OK. Thanks so much for the info! Sherry
