best surgeon in KY.?????

Hi Davina, I have to agree with Steph when she said everyone would support their own doctor. I believe that is the way it should be if you are comfortable with your decision and feel comfortable with your surgeon. I also had my surgery at Kings Daughters with Dr. Wheeler. I personally have been completely satisfied with him and his staff. They are all wonderful people and have been so helpful. Dr. Wheeler is very serious about this and is totally straight forward with all info. You should attend one of their seminars. It is very informative. I believe they are the 1st Thursday of each month. Our support group is the 2nd Thursday being this Thursday the 13th with the Topic of Rules of the Pouch. We would love to have you. We have alot of interesting things lined up for the next few months. I wish you luck in finding the surgeon that is right for you. Davina, I would recommend Drs. Oldham and Weiss in Georgetown, KY. They do laparoscopy procedures exclusively. Bypass as well as lap band. They are great. Georgetown Bariatrics. Cindy

I have only been to the seminar, but I have some friends who have had surgery by Dr. Geller. They love him. The scars look like a plastic surgeon did them and much smaller than others, especially with the open gastric bypass - no staple marks. Good luck with your search. Give him a call. Tam
