Support group near Lexington?

My surgeon's office is in Dayton which is simply too far to drive for a 1 hour monthly support group meeting. Does anyone know of any support groups in or around Lexington that are open to everyone? Thanks! -joanne s

Joanne, Georgetown Bariatrics is open to everyone. The nurses run the support group meetings and they are really infomative. We meet once a month at the Scott County Library. There are also surgery specific groups that meet in the afternoon every week. Here is the site for the online support group. Sandy, I don't think it is open to anyone except their patients. Could be wrong tho. It used to be that way and they wouldn't even let me as a pre-op attend. They have changed that also. Might be worth a try.
