HELP!!! My insurance exclusions
Hi everyone 
Well, I told you all I would post my exclusions once I got the written exclusion from my insurance company, (Anthem bc/bs )and I got a benefit book from them today in the mail and it seems pretty solid..I think I am pretty much doomed. But i thought i would see if someone who knows more than me thinks i have any chance of ever getting this wls.
Well here it is:------------
1) bariatric surgery, regardless of the purpose it is proposed or performed. This includes but is not limited to Roux-en-Y
(RNY), Laproscopic gastric bypass surgery or other gastric bypass surgery (surgical procedures that reduce stomach capacity and divert partially digested food from the duodenum to the jejunum,the section of the small intestine extending from the duodenum) or Gastroplasty, (surgical procedures that decrease the size of the stomach).
2) Related to weight loss or weight loss programs whether or not they are under medical or physician supervision, Weight loss programs include but are not limited to commerical weight loss programs such as weigh****chers, Jenny Craig or LA weight loss or fasting programs.
Wow...That pretty much says "no-way, nadda, getta outta here" huh???

Oh Kim, I am so sorry. Don't give up though. I am having trouble with my insurance co too, Great West, not an exclusion. Try Gary Viscio, I have been referred to him by numerous people and I hear he is very good. Also try ObesityLaw.com. I have heard they are good also. Good luck and let me know what u find out. I have emailed Gary myself and if u want the email addresses I have for him email me at [email protected]. I also submitted an email at ObesityLaw.com. We can't let these insurance co's get us down.
