seen Dr.Allen on Sept 10th they didn't send my paper work off to the medicard place until 11-09-04 called the medical card place yesterday they said the dr. needed to call and see what the hold up is how long does it take to get approval

Hi, Freda, I wish I knew the answer to your question, Dr Shina up in Louisville is my surgeon. Great West Healthcare is my Ins and they know how to lay that run-a-round business on ya too. I just found out I may have to wait 12 more months cause they might not take the diet history I have...Sucks, doesn't it? Keep the faith and I wish u the best. God Bless Angela

Hi Freda, NO run around with my surgeon (Dr. Alex Argotte-Lourdes Hospital Paducah Ky). It only took me from August until October to get my surgery, and I could have had it in September if I wanted. His entire staff are great, and don't give you the run around. They are very prompt, and get the job done. He does take Ky. medicaid. Good luck and God Bless. Jenni 300/247/145 -53 lbs.

I got the same thing with Dr Allen. The office staff is extremely unfriendly and doesnt seem to understand or maybe they just dont care that we are sitting on pins and needles at home counting the seconds and they send the paperwork in at their leisure. I have been extremely frustrated with his office!
