Eating like it is your last meal???

I'm 8 days from surgery!! 6 days from clear liquids.... Well I have made a list and checked it twice of the places I will not be able to eat at for awhile!! My last place to eat *Outback Steak House* Over the last 2 weeks I have had Papa Johns pizza, my favorite chinese buffett, sonic, Texas road house and Tumbleweed!! Am I bad or what!! I know these places will be in the distant future but I waited to eat like I was leaving earth tomorrow!! I have only gained 2 pounds. Dr. Shina warned us during the seminar NOT to come to the hospital weighing in like you had been eating your last supper for 2 weeks!! What has been your pre-op eating experience??? Blessings Tonya

A 6 wks, before my surgery, I had liquid protein for 3 meals and a regular meal in the evening. I also, tried to prepare myself the last 2 wks for ground up food that would be coming by making up receipts and trying to see what I thought I could eat without . I also ate in many of my favorite places for the evening meal. Good luck with your surgery. Diane

This can't be like a mass halucination kinda thing can it? LOL I mean I've been eating like crazy and I have over a month to go yet...there goes those pounds I lost!! I've just decided to STOP IT!! I'm threatening myself with a bowel prep!! LOL....I've gotta get those ten pounds back off before next month. Best to you, Tonya on your exciting date!! I'll certainly be thinking of you!
