needing a friend

I live in Mt. Sterling and was wandering if there was anyone out there nearby that could possibably like to get together and talk. It doesnt realy matter where you are in your surgery quest, just that you would be interested in talking with someone who is just begining there journey. Thanks and God Bless!

Hi Hon, Don't know where Mt. Sterling is, but I live in Southern Missouri, and my surgeon is in Paducah, Ky. By chance is Dr. Argotte your surgeon? I'd be glad to help you as much as I can. I'm only 8 weeks post-op, but possibly can help you some. I couldn't find your profile, so am assuming you didn't put one on. jenni, yes Dr argotte is the dr. that i have found... I am dealing with medicaid and he is the only dr. that I can find that is still accepting. Mt. Sterling is 5 hours east of paducah. The drive is what is bothering me the most, expecially post op. I have children and it is going to be hard. Other than that I am scared, and still needing to research the surgery. Hi Darlene, I'm about a half hour away from Mt. Sterling. I can't meet in person at this time because I had emergency surgery last weekend (not WLS related) and have a nasty case of bronchitis. But I'd be happy to help you via email if you have questions. Rhonna
