PUBLIC APOLOGY NUMBER TWO (Long)

i just posted this on the big board and wanted to post it here as well. You that have read my many posts on here know that I don't always use tact and the right words when posting. It has come to my attention that the post I made to Jennifer B's apology post last Saturday has been misinterpeted by some and probably made some of you biew my bariatric program in a bad way. In trying to encourage Jennifer to not be ashamed and not give up, I used a poor choice of words to describe how some people were acting, staff included. I used the word "high" and some people thought I was referring to drugs. Well, back in my day that is not what high meant. We didn't have drugs. I am old. I also used some other very inappropiate words that made it seem like we had a big wild party and that was not the case at all and not what I was trying to say. I went back to the thread and can see why some people would read it that way. It was a great party and everyone was having fun. It is the one time of the year that we get to see our surgeons and staff out of the office and mix and mingle with them like everyday, ordinary people. I want to clarify that NONE of the staff was drunk and that is what I seemed to be saying. All you guys that read my daily postings on the big board and on here, know that i worship and adore my surgeon and the staff by the way I talk about them and refer people to them every day from here. So, like Jennifer B., I am now ashamed to show my face back at the office and probably will not go back. I will get my PCP to keep track of my bloodwork and try to find another group to take care of my bariatric needs. I am so sorry that people were led to think bad about my program. As far as I am concerned, it is the best program in the state. When I start hurting people instead of helping them, it is time to stop posting. So, if any of you were offended or think that, I am deeply sorry . Please forgive me.
