One step closer

I received the pre-approval letter from my insurance company and faxed it to Dr. Shina's office. Holly in his office is so nice. I was able to get the names of the other doctors that I will have to see (cardiologist, lung doctor, vascular doctor, etc.) and was able to confirm that they are all within my insurance's provider network. Thank you Lord! And I have to call back next Friday to get my surgery date. It will be either the end of January or the first week of February. So it's time to wait some more.

Maybe more waiting but, you now know that it is going to happen!! I seen Dr. Hedden for my pysch evaluation yesterday. He was very nice. You will like him. I have my other appts next week. I will let you know how they go.I guess you will have to come to Louisville for all those appts. I hope it works out so that you do not have to make alot of trips. Maybe you can double up on appts one day. I hope this is making sense, am very tired and am rambling on & on & on ..... Blessings Tonya

I saw Dr. Hedden yesterday as well. My appointment was at 10:00 a.m. He was nice. Good luck on your other appointments. I don't remember, do you have to have the filter? And yes we have to make a lot of trips and they seem to get longer and longer everytime we go. There is an excellent preacher preaching in Louisville on the 11th and we are not even sure we are going to make it up there to hear him because we have been on the road so much. I'm hoping Holly will double up on the appointments. She is so nice that I'm sure she will try. Since you are going before me, please keep me posted. I am continuing to pray for you. My appt. was not until 2:00. We just missed each other!! I'm not having the filter. Since you are that is most likely one reason your wls will not be until Jan. Isn't the filter done outpatient?? We did just miss each other! I'll let you know what other appointments I have when I get them and maybe we'll see each other. Yes the filter is done outpatient but I understand I will still have to go to the hospital. I am dreading it more then the wls. My husband thinks I should have it whether or not I have the wls because I have already had two pulmonary emboli (25 years ago). Have a good weekend! God Bless, Karen
