How long for approval?

My doctors office sent in my paperwork to Bluegrass Family Health for approval on Monday, just wondering how long anyone else had to wait? Anyone to tell me their experiences with this insurance company? Thanks all.

I have Bluegrass Family Health. It took around 40-45 days for my approval to come through. I have a good friend with BGFH and they denied her twice before she was approved. I'm thinking they initially denied her because they said they didn't receive all of her paperwork. They denied her the second time because they didn't like the wording of her last visit on the 6 month doc supervised diet. They finally got all of that straightened out and she was approved. She had her surgery this past Thursday. BGFH can be very tough to deal with. They like all of their I's dotted and their t's crossed. Patience is the key.
