waiting for insurance approval

hi, got a letter today, they have sent my insurance the papers for approval, and i'm nervous. I have sleep apnea and my lungs are constricted and i am having a terrible time breathing. My bmi is 70.5 and i'm in a wheel chair, pray that things goes smoothly and my insurance will be approved soon. I feel like i'm running out of time.

I too am waiting for approval from insurance co. I do know we have to be patient. Something I'm learning each day of my life!! I seen Dr. Shina (Louisville Dr) on 10.26. I called the office Wednesday 11-10 and the insurance lady told me Dr. Shina just finished up that weeks dictation and my letter should be going out by the end of the week. I was helping to have my surgery over Christmas break but I don't think that will happen. I keep reminding myself I put this in God's hands He is in control not me. I didn't get to this size over a few months so, if I have wait a few more months it will be ok... What insurance co do you have?? My is Humana PPO choicecare. I said a prayer for you. I would suggest the laparoscopic surgical approach, it has been shown to improve the postoperative respiratory issues and make that part of recovery easier.
