I've decided to go for it!

Thank you for all the kind words and support I've been getting. I've made a HUGE decision...I'M GOING FOR IT! I binged at lunch today and I feel like crud! I've decided I am tired of being a slave to food and hating my body!! I'm DONE! I'm getting the ball rolling tonight as soon as I get home!! Wish me luck!!! Holli, I think you'll be glad you made this decision, but be warned-- It's a waiting game. You will learn to have patience(sp?). My surgery is Dec 6. seems so far away. I'm in E-town, too. E mail if you want to. Shirlene Wright

That's great news Holli. That's a decision no one can or should make for you. As the others have said now it's a waiting game. But, you've made the firstbig step. Keep up the good work. Just remember do EVERYTHING the doctors tell you to do before and after the surgery to help ensure sucess without problems, esp. this one Start a journal of your adventure into skinnydom. Diane

Congratulations! When I read your post, I thought that those words could have been a direct quote from me 2 1/2 months ago. When I was finally so sick to death of being controlled by food that I was willing to take the risk of surgery to be free of it. I am happy to report that I am now 6 weeks out and doing FABULOUSLY well! I'm down from a 22W to an 18W and wearing JEANS for the first time in a long time (and feeling GOOD about it!). Even though I had a complication that resulted in emergency surgery the first day, I have never regretted my decision to have the surgery for one moment. I can't tell you how much better I feel these days. It really is a new life! Good luck! Rhonna

Good for you girl!! I'm waiting on insurance approval now.... I noticed 2 of you girls live in E'town. I live about 30 minutes south of y'all. Hart County. What Dr have you seen??
