Did You???

If anyone had/has Humana, had/has a written exclusion, but was/is still approved for this surgery, PLEASE email me ([email protected]). I am in the process of hiring an attorney, and we need to know if Humana EVER made an exception to the exclusion. Thank you Linda

Linda, You should follow the appeals process first. You should appeal the decision first. If you are denied a second time, you will need to have your state board of insurance do an external review. In a lot of cases, the external review board has reversed Humana's decision. Please let me know if you get any emails about someone being approved with an exclusion. I currently have a friend who is having an external review done. She hasn't heard yet. Let me know if I can help. Hiring an attorney can be very costly for you. Thanks, Adrian
