Good Morning Everybody, My information was sent to the ins on Sept 29, I called the ins company yesterday and was told my info had been received and was being processed.... I was also told to check back in about a week and half and he would probably have an answer for me.. hopefully the 3rd time is a charm !!! Please keep me and my family in your prayers. The staff at Georgetown have been wonderful a true god send for me, keep then and their work in your prayers as well.. Thanks Debbie

Hello Debbie! I am new to this website and just have started my journey toward getting the surgery. Have you applied 3 times for this surgery? May I ask who u have insurance with? Good Luck on getting the approval!!!! Thanks Dee

Debbie, Who is your insurance with? Why have you had to apply three times? Please let me know of any helpful information. I have a exclusion on my contract, which is preventing me from having the surgery. I am trying to find a way around the exclusion. Thanks, Adrian

Good Morning Adrain, I have CHA "Commonwealth administrators" and I've been denied twice. The first time because of No medical documentation of a life threatening illness and the second time because I have not been a diabetic for 12 months.. but that was not part of the criteria ....It's such a long story I've been through a battle with them. Just keep me in your prayers. and good luck and best wishes to you. And YES the staff and surgeons at Georgetown have been WONDERFUL. I'm actually thankful for the first denial because I was with another group then. So god does work in mysterious ways... Debbie

Debbie, Good luck. I also was denied and had to fight with UHC but I finally got the approval needed and I am having surgery Nov 3rd. I also go to Georgetown I just love the staff there and the Doctors are wonderful. Good luck to you. Marsha
