Hello, 1st Time

Hey, I am from BAllard County Ky, ID there any fellow Kentuckians from there, or what about PAducah. I have been approved for the lapband and I am so excited. I was looking for a support group. But I can only find RNY support groups . Can anyone help, any other kentuckians had the band?

Welcome aboard!! I am actually a RNY but have talked with a few gals who had the banding,I actually had wanted the band but the insurance would only go the whole route because of the co morbities I had. We have several support groups in the Paducah area,one is the 1st Tuesday of the month this is sponsered by Lourdes Bariatric Dept. The other one is the 3rd Thurdsay of the month and that is independant of any certain Dr or hospital just a bunch of us sitting around talking about our new life!!
