I Have a DATE! OCT 7

I can't believe this... I have never seen anything fall into place quite the way this whole process has. I went to my introduction seminar on Aug. 30. Had my intern visit on Sept 2. I finished all my pre-op testing & phsych evaulation and submitted the paperwork to insurance on Sept 20. The insurance told me I was approved on Sept. 23. The office received their hard copy of approval yesterday (Sept 27) and today they have me scheduled for bariatric bootcamp tomorrow Sept 29 and my surgery for next thursday, Oct. 7th!! This is WAY before I had even hoped to have the surgery scheduled! We'd been shooting for the end of October. 5 1/2 weeks... I'm stunned... I'm scared... but most of all, I'M EXCITED!!!

Rhonda, WOW that is really fast. My surgery is Oct. 6th, where are you having yours done? I am from Eastern ky too. I live in Pikeville. I am havin g mine in Lexington at Good Sams.Dr. Bolar is my surgeon. Congrats, Patti

Thanks everyone! I feel VERY fortunate that it has gone quickly!! I can't believe that within 24 hours, it will all be behind me! I'm having the surgery done at St. Joseph East in Lexington, by Dr. Steiner. It's really nice, the Bariatric office and the Hospital are right next door.
