Any luck with KY dept of Ins?

My insurance (Anthem BCBS) denied my appeal and is not allowing me an external review. Has anyone had any luck with the KY dept of insurance? Any one have any advice? Thanks, Beth

no, im sorry i cant answer your question.. but you have the same insurance I do. Is Anthem hard to get approval? i am submitting soon... so now i am worried.. Kim

Beth Go for the help from the State. FIGHT IT. PLEASE Please provide them ur case with any comobilities, Dr. notes, diaonosises, and anything that will support ur case. Provide all this information to build up and support your case. I had to fight and I had The state board of insurance involved and it did help. I had my surgery on Sept 10, and doing well. It is hard to get in the swing of this new way of living, eating. Well I wish you luck and keep me posted of any news Dan O
