4 Mths Post OP
HI everyone...
I am 4 months postop for RNY Open (May 6th) and did great... I had 2 months that I was having issues but it had nothing to do with the surgery... I found that it was due to depression and stress... So now I am great and eating fine... I started out at 265# and now its 196#. I seem to have leveled off but there again... I'm not doing my protein shakes like I should... But that will come back around... I eat really well. Most of the time, I try to eat salads with chicken or shrimp... My favorite food in the world...
Well, I hope everyone else has had an easy surgery or will have an easy surgery...
I had mine done with Dr. Rodriguez in Louisville and he is so happy all the time... It made me excited to get my surgery done...

GOOD FOR YOU TRACEY..I ALSO HAD SURGERY WITH DR ROD..AND HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE. I HAD VIRTUALLY NO PAIN. EVERYTHING HAS BEEN GOING GOOD WITH ME ALSO. I'M ALMOST A MONTH PAST SURGERY (8/26) AND FEELING REALLY GOOD-ONLY HAD 2 EPISODES OF HURLING AND ONE WAS GREEN BEANS AND THE OTHER WAS TOO MUCH FOOD. PROBABLY WILL NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN...HATE HURLING!!
I TOO WISH EVERYONE ELSE AS UNEVENTFUL A SURGERY AS WE'VE HAD
