Does any one know if medicade pays for a tummy tuck and is there a dr in kentucky that takes it also what does it take to get started.

As far as I know, Medicaid WILL NOT pay for ANY kind of plastic surgery. You might call them and find out for sure, but since it's not a "medical necessity", they don't cover it.

Freda Hello medicaid will pay for it if you delovep a hernia and th dr writes it up so it will be covered cause just had my hernia repair TT done on the 6th of last mth and medacide payed for all of it I have dr Argotte in mayfied he is the one who also did my WLS hope this helps Take Care Huggs Beth
