Sort of got a wrinkle in the starting of this journey....Etown area

Hello, my name is Angela and I am wanting to have this surgery so bad, I don't have any problems getting a surgeon, I have every thing wrong with me that the ins co wants, and I have a diet history so right now I'm not too worried about "not" getting approved. My problem is, I am just starting out, going back and forth to different docs, getting a test here and there. So far my husband has been real good about not complaining the amount of money that I am racking up in co-pays alone. Not to long ago I was going to get certified thru 4 C's for in home child care, but then I decided to have this surgery and I want to wait till after before I get my certification. What I would like to do is do some in home babysitting, I realize that this is off topic, but I have advertised at local stores, etc, (starting today) and have had no calls yet. I have alot of experience in babysitting and references. I will get a police check done on myself for the parents. If anyone in the Elizabethtown, Hardin Cty area needs a sitter, or knows someone who does, email me at [email protected] and I will give more details. I just want to make a little extra money, (my rates are very low) to pay my own co pays, u know what ever I might need. I can't be of any help but I did want to wish you well. We have a weekend home in Eastern KY and many times we stop in E'town to spend the night before completing our journey ... it's such a nice town!! DeeDee

Thanks, DeeDee, right now any kind of response is uplifting. I am so down about it and I shouldn't be. My husband, Adam, says its ok and will continue to be ok. But, I want to do a little something to help. My co pay is $15, so thats not bad, it just adds up. I love kids and have always liked to babysit so I thought that might be the answer. I have a 2 yr old baby girl myself. After I have surgery I plan on opening a daycare in my home. Thanks for your reply, it means alot that u read it and sent well wishes.

Angela best of luck to you to bad you dont live in west ky but I bet you will find someone it just might take lil time did you also have on their that you do have a back groung check on you that might help if they already know that Take Care Huggs Beth p.s I will also let my sis know she has been wanting a job and she watches her grandbaby

Thanks, Beth, my husband is great and very supportive, but I just want to feel like I am helping out too. These little bills add up after awhile. I love kids, we have a 2 yr old little girl in the process of potty training! I thought since I love kids that if I could do some babysitting and make a little bit of money I would help helping some. Just in case your sister is interested I charge $12 a day for one child, I have heard that that is cheap, but I am not looking to get rich, hubby makes good out at AP Technoglass, I just want to feel like I can go to the Dr and pay for my co-pay myself. Hi Angela! I am waiting on results from my appeal to my insurance to have the lapband surgery. I live in Brandenburg and work at Fort Knox, I don't have any children, but will spread the word around for anyone that does that they might want to check with you about babysitting. Are you pursuing the lapband surgery or RNY? I was just wondering. Good luck!! KATHY

Hi Kathy, good luck on your appeal, how much longer do u think it will be till u hear from them? I'm not too far from Ft. Knox or Brandenburg, not to sure about Brandenburg. Thanks for spreading the word for me, I can use all the help I can get, lol. If u happen to find anyone interested I charge $12 a day for one child. I am wanting to go for the RNY, I know this sounds real silly, but when I was growing up we lived on a farm and we banded our calves, and piglets.
