Insurance exclusion????????

Can anyone help me with finding someone to help me get rid of an exclusion on my insurance?? I think it is unfair! I need help please!!!!!

under exclusions it has: Obesity-charges incurred for services, supplies, surery, or other care or programs rendered for the purpose of weight loss, regardless of its classifacation, even if the individual has other health conditions which might be helped by weight reduction, or charges incurred for the removal of excess fat or skin following weight loss. pretty bad huh??

Sounds like the exclusion our company put on our health plan thru UHC. I have been emailing our human resource dept at the corporate offfices trying to get this exclusion lifted.Good Luck...Debbie
