Insurance proiblems

Is anyone out there having any trouble with Athem BC/BS? I have been trying to get approved since May. I hear Athem BC/BS of Florida has quit doing WLS surgeries all together....I am afraid that is going to happen to me. Any input from anyone would be helpful.

I have Anthem Blue Preferred HMO. I am in Kentucky and they approved mine the same day they received it. I am not trying to be a downer here but I hope that you get your approval soon. If not maybe move to KY. (just kidding) I will keep you in my prayers. Just hang in there. Lee

Thank you Lee for your words of incouragement...I do live in Kentucky, My husbands work has their insurance company as Athem BC/BS of Ga. I guess they gave them a better deal. I don't know what's going on and every time I try to call them I get , " all represenatives are busy please try your call again later. I had heard where some have written letters and enclosed photo's. I guess it couldn't hurt. Thanks for your prayers...Brenda
