Down 64 pounds!!
Awesome!!
You are doing great Bet You will be a Knockout on the next set of pics I mean hey Your pretty now It can only get better!! You must be so excited I can't wait till I get my turn. Can I ask You a Question In Your opinion is the reason that people seem to think that they lose so slowly because of the anticipation of the end results? I hear so many People gettin aggrevated thinkin that it is slow and I am thinkin WHAT . You read peoples profiles and it seems to happen so fast because it is right there in black and white 300 - 275 - 250 - 200 - 190 - 180 - 165- Goal ya know and that just is like 2 seconds to read So I am wondering Time has slowed to a snails pace since waiting for A date does it stay slow after surgery in anticipation or does it speed back up? TY You have done Great.

Hey Shell hun. Some people do lose slower than others, as I am sure you have heard. Here is my opinion from my point of view on my journey. Yes when you read everyones profiles, it is like wow they went from 300 to 135lbs!!!! You get really excited from seeing all the geat results and how fast these people have made it to their goals. First off, look at the dates. If you notice, most of the weight loss was done in about 1 year. Some reach their goals before, and some still lose slowly after the first year. So yeah when I get to my goal it is going to be like wow the weight came off so fast!! Yes a year is real fast, it sure took alot longer than that to gain it, plus with all the yo you dieting, we have been let down so much, that when this works it is like Woohoo!!! Time seems to be going really slow, when you are on your journey. Like me , I am well I am down 64lbs in 3 months, but I still have such a long way to go. So my journey at times seems to be creeping by. It is normal feelings, just have to tell yourself you will be totally different in a year. Not over night. When you have your surgery you will more than likely lose alot of water weight the first few weeks, and be really excited with the loss you are seeing on the scale. Then about a month out it seems like you are not losing at all! But hey you are. I have read my journal, and done fitday. I see myself always saying I am not losing anything or I only lost 2 lbs in 3 weeks. Then I look at my weight now, and what it was when I was writing all that. To my surprise hey there went another 20lbs. So it will feel slow at times or even at a hault, but you will see big changes everymonth for the first year. I help one friend on here, to stay away from the scale. She started at a lighter weight, so of course she will lose slower compared to someone who has alot more to lose. She was really getting depressed about the scale not moving. She drinks, eats, and exercises perfectly. So we made a pack to stay away from the scale till our next Dr appt. She was so excit4ed when she saw that she had lost over 50lbs, and got under that dreaded 200lb mark. She felt so much better. So please hide your scale, and do it maybe once a week if no changes once a month, or only when you go see your Dr. It isn't going to fall off of us, so we don't want to get depressed. A year from now, we will be saying yeah it fell off of us, I lost all my weight in a year!! LOL I hope you can see what I am saying yes it is coming off fast, and yes it seems while we are on our journey it is coming off slow. Best wishes on your journey, and keep us posted- Melissa
