Lap band surgery in KY??

Dr. Weiss and Dr. Oldham in Georgetown, KY do the Lap-band. I've just gotten my approval for the Lap-band surgery and so far my experiences with the office in Georgetown is 5 Star!!! I would definitely recommend them!

I was researching this one at one time. In lousiville, there are 4 doctors doing this one. You can research them at rightweigh.com. Check them out. I hear they are excellent. Dr. Shina is the one I was going to for RNY because medicare won't pay for lap band, but I decided right now I didn't want anything so invasive. But he's one that has been doing these proceedures the longest I think in KY. Lydia Best of luck.

Dr. Oldham and Dr. Weiss did my surgery. They are wonderful. The before care is excellant, the hospital stay was wonderful, but best of all, the aftercare is PHENOMINAL. The entire staff at the Georgetown really seem to care about you as a person. They have wonderful support group meetings, and have recently started a weekly emotional support group on Wednesdays. Three of the nurses that work in bariatric center have had weightloss surgery themselves so they really know what it's like to struggle with obesity. Robin 8/11/04 Dr. Oldham 272/244/170
