SELF PAY ?????????

I'm from northern Mo. and looks like self pay as Insurance is not budging. Was wondering if anyone knows cost of self pay in KY., what doc's, hospital . I'm do not want open surgery If possible.. Thanks in advance for al you help Bob

I just arrived home after open RNY, was self pay and seems to have been around 20,000. Dr. Shina in Louisville did the surgury and have had no unexpected problems. I knw that Georgetown, Ky Hospital has a plan for self pay, which is lap RNY for approx 18,000. Good Luck, Roberta

I had my lapband surgery at Georgetown 10 days ago. Self-pay for lapband is $15,100 and includes I believe the first year of fills free.

I represent Dr. Geller's office in Louisville. The self-pay package is even lower. There will be free information seminar this coming Tuesday 6:00pm at Suburban Hospital and Dr. Geller will be speaking. Bob, about a year ago, the self-pay package from the Center for Weight Loss Surgery in Lexington, Ky was around 15,000. Could have gone up since then. Good luck
