I have a friend in need of surgery.

I have a friend that is in the extremely morbidly obese categorie. Both her and her husband work full-time jobs but still barely make ends meet. She doesn't have insurance. She despirately wants to have surgery, but can't afford it. What can she do? Are there places that will help you with getting it done? She doesn't qualify for medicaid. She only has one kidney if that helps in anyway.

I wish I had an answer for you. It's hard to get any kind of help from the goverment or anywhere. I don't know what to tell you. She might ask the churches in her area if they could help her in anyway. Sorry. I was in the same shape untill Medicare decided to start doing this. Hope she makes it and gets help. Lydia
