anyone feel like answering a Q?

Hi all. I have medicaid and I was wondering (how many times do we hear that here?(LOL)) I have been FAT for like MY WHOLE LIFE, and I have had a bazillion and one diets...go figure....and well a few where doc supervised but one left the practice and started advising for the KY medical associates and so I can't get those records wouldn't know where to start, anyway needless to say I don't have the six months weigh in thing on record, has ANYONE been approved for RNY without this through medicaid/medicare?

Hey Shell, I have medicaid and just heard that I got approved it took about a month. The only thing is I can only have surgery in Louisville. Because none of the other Doctors in Lex. or Georgetown will take medicaid. But I like my Doctor. His name is Dr. Cacchione. Hes younger and doesn't talk a lot but hes to the point and treats you like your a real person. Good Luck and God bless.

Hi I got approved and it only took about 1 mth for all it to go threw and that is from the time i seen the dr till theday I had my operation and that was a yr ago -4-16 I have lost 126pds I did delovepe 2 hernias also alot of skn hanging down and medicade aproved for the hernia repair and the way my dr had it wrote up they payed for the TT also I have dr Argotta in mayfield Take Care Huggs Beth
