Hi Everyone!

I will have my first consultation with the doctor on 8/10. I am very excited about this but scared the insurance company won't approve. Does anyone out there have Bluegrass Family Health? Can you tell me your experience with them? How long did it take to get approved? I feel like this is my last chance to do something about my weight.

I have BGFH. I had to have a recent 6 consecutive month doctor supervised diet or something like Weigh****chers. Since the one I had wasn't recent enough I had to do that before they could submit insurance. After it was submitted it took 5 weeks for my approval. I am now scheduled for surgery.

I have Bluegrass Ins. I had to have a 6 month medically supervised diet or it could have been Weigh****chers,so I went with the medically supervised diet.I started in Jan. and finished in June.It took the ins.4 weeks to approve me.My surgery is Sept.9.Bluegrass was wonderful to me and everytime I called they were very nice to me .Good luck on your journey Charlane Beckner
